Get access to the browser

Download the program at from XDA Forum.

Make sure to enable it from Antivirus.

Try access browser using “Open YouTube”. I haven’t tested this method.

Otherwise, try “Open Maps” and do the following steps:

Search on Google Maps “Hotels”;
Select one from the results;
Click on Call;
Now erase the hotel number and type an emergency number: 112;
Tap Call and then end the call after a second;
Click Recents;
Select the Emergency Number;
Click the Message icon;
On the type message field, type www.google.com and click send;
Now tap on www.google.com in the message;
Tap on the 3 dots in the top-right corner and select Open In Samsung Internet.

Add a new Google Account

In the browser bar, typr efrp.me and open the website and download technocare.apk (other APKs didn’t work for me) and install the app. Then open Settings App and do the following:

Remove Find My Device from Device Administrators;
Disable Google Play Services from Apps;
Under Accounts add a new Google Account;
Add back Device Administrators;
Enable Google Pay Services again;
Restart the device;
Enjoy your unlocked phone!

I suggest you to remove the Google account you just added and do a new factory reset after this process to get a clean installation.

The following example shows a complete job definition with only three keys:

Label This key is required for every job definition. It identifies the job and has to be unique for the launchd instance. Theoretically it is possible for an agent to have the same label as a daemon, as daemons are loaded by the root launchd whereas agents are loaded by a user launchd, but it is not recommended.
Program This key defines what to start, in this case a shell script /Users/Me/Scripts/cleanup.sh.
RunAtLoad This is one of several optional keys specifying when the job should be run, in this case right after it has been loaded.

Now, let’s add it as a Login Hook:

sudo defaults write com.apple.loginwindow LoginHook /usr/local/bin/script.sh

sudo defaults write com.apple.loginwindow LogoutHook /usr/local/bin/script2.sh

sudo defaults delete com.apple.loginwindow LoginHook
sudo defaults delete com.apple.loginwindow LogoutHook

Install pyenv on macOS Big Sur

There are some known issues on installing pyenv on macOS 11 (Big Sur).

Here is the solution that worked for me on macOS 11.2.2

$ brew install bzip2 lbzip2 lzlib openssl zlib
$ CFLAGS="-I$(brew --prefix openssl)/include -I$(brew --prefix bzip2)/include -I$(brew --prefix readline)/include -I$(xcrun --show-sdk-path)/usr/include" LDFLAGS="-L$(brew --prefix openssl)/lib -L$(brew --prefix readline)/lib -L$(brew --prefix zlib)/lib -L$(brew --prefix bzip2)/lib"

reMarkable notes grammar

I have written a grammar for hex editors like Synalyse It! and Hexinator for the reMarkable note files.

The grammar can parse properly only v5 of reMarkable files. This version stores each page in a different .rm file.

AVD with Google Play root access

If you get adbd cannot run as root in production builds, you need to modify the config.ini file in ~/.android/avd/DEVICE_ID changing these variables:

You can install local packages in Debian/Ubuntu in several ways.

apt

$ sudo apt install /path/to/package.deb

Using apt, the dependencies will be installed automatically.

dpkg

$ sudo dpkg -i /path/to/package.deb

Keep in mind that dpkg won’t install dependencies automatically, so you need to run also:

$ sudo apt-get install -f

Install wkhtmltox on Ubuntu-Debian

The Debian repository package doesn’t come with patched version of Qt, so in order to use wkhtmltox you need to install the package manually.
